Africa's advisory profession needs its own credential.
Africa's wealth advisory profession lacks a single, accessible, locally grounded practitioner credential. Existing options fall short in three ways.
Existing qualifications focus on compliance and product rules, not holistic, client-centred practice.
International designations run $3,000–10,000+, beyond reach for most African practitioners.
Curricula built for other markets ignore local vehicles, informal finance, and African realities.
CWPA closes that gap, and completes the Learn → Apply pathway, taking advisors from education to professional practice.
Six competency domains, mapped to the six pillars.
Every domain ties directly to a WealthPro pillar, so education and professional competence share one framework.
Diagnose financial position, cash flow, and literacy level; apply budgeting and goal-setting.
Construct holistic financial plans aligned to client objectives and life stage.
Design saving and emergency-fund strategies using regulated and informal African vehicles.
Apply asset allocation, suitability, and IPS construction, without giving unlicensed advice.
Assess protection needs; apply insurance, diversification, and estate-planning frameworks.
Advise on business financial planning, SME growth, and legacy building in African contexts.
Woven through every domain: CMA, CBK, IRA, SASRA, RBA, and the Data Protection Act 2019; suitability, disclosure, and conflicts of interest, benchmarked to leading international ethics standards. A separate pass on ethics is required at every level.
Three levels, one designation.
A clear pathway from practitioner baseline to an applied, client-ready capstone.
Financial foundations, planning, and capital formation. The practitioner baseline.
Assessment: Proctored MCQ + scenario examination.
Investment advisory, protection, growth, and regulatory conduct.
Assessment: Proctored MCQ + scenario examination, with a separate ethics pass.
A full financial plan and Investment Policy Statement for a simulated African client.
Assessment: Capstone artefact + professional-conduct viva.
Pass mark 70% per level, with a separate pass required on the ethics strand. Remote proctoring via the WealthPro LMS. Up to two re-sits per level within 12 months.
Three ways in. One standard.
However you enter, every candidate is held to the same assessment standard.
Complete all three levels and pass every assessment.
Recognition of prior learning for Level 1, then complete Levels 2–3.
Sponsored enrolment, held to the same assessment standard.
Deliberately accessible.
Priced to be accessible across Africa, not to gatekeep. Education fees only, never bundled with advisory fees.

Built local. Benchmarked global.
We are pursuing international recognition for CWPA through the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) Accredited Training Partner (ATP) pathway, anchored by founder Victor Marangu’s CISI credentials and 16+ years in the field.
